Just finished Richard Evans' book In Defence of History in time for my Historiography exam (the one on Monday on general history, I have another Historiography exam this Friday on the History of Art).Pretty smooth read all the way through. The post-modernist-bashing does feel a little outdated (I'm reading the edition from 2000).
Hope I can still read my summary and retain all of Evans' arguments and score extra bonus points.
