This time the postman (or woman, I couldn't tell, our hedge still hasn't been trimmed by our lazy landlord so I can't see out, feels like living in a vegetated prison) didn't walk up to the front door. Everything fitted into our letter box. It was only a tiny parcel this morning. Another paperback, another thriller. Not a scientific one, but an art theft one. It is The Art Thief by Noah Charney. He's founder of ARCA (The Association for Research into Crimes against Art) and it's his first novel. It has an average of 2 1/2 stars on LibraryThing. So it has had a very mixed reception. And it's not just a case of 'you love it or you hate it'. There have been a lot of reviews posted by readers...
